Quizizz: It's a Quiz, but Better

Quzizz.com has a very bold motto: the world's most engaging learning platform. And the claim is fully justified. Well, at least in my opinion.  Looking back at the first time I know the platform was at the first semester, far before the pandemic. It was Mr. Charis from FAI who made us took the quiz. And my mind was blown away, so do my friends. The platform was fun, engaging, and competitive. My friends were intrigued, they demanded a second quiz. Laughters were cracked when one of the participant with the name "Calon Rektor" emerged. The other participants follow suit with their own ridiculous names. At the end, it was fun. It didn't feel boring like a class supposed to be (very sarcastic indeed).

Scores:

  1. Relevance  (4)
It's relevancy to learn any subject, let alone Language, is very strong

  2. Feedback (4)
The interaction happens by answering questions

  3. Thinking Skill (3)
Doesn't require as much critical thinking in operating

  4. Ease of Use (3)
It's little harder at first both for the teacher as well as the participants. For participants, it's mostly harder at first because the quiz can vary in forms.

  5. Engagement (3)
Quizizz is very engaging but in one-side way since it's a tool for games and quiz, not for discussions.

  6. Sharing (4)
Anyone with the right code can join with a catch: an account also required.

  7. Accessibility and Cost (4)
It is available in all major platforms, they also offer premium features but in my opinion the free version is very capable.
